Residential Services from MHAC
The word “home” is as rich with meaning as a rainbow has colors.
While you might think of it as a physical location or structure, a place where you sleep at night, these four letters convey something much more: a haven for safety, a valued place, one’s close family or one’s self, a place of discovery, a bond of emotional attachment.
The Mental Health Association of Connecticut offers adults with long term mental health challenges a chance to find a home in the community. Whether they need a supervised setting with on site staff or periodic help maintaining their own apartment in the community, our staff assist them is creating and sustaining a healthy, affordable and decent place in the community.
