Free Counselling Ottawa

Pinecrest-Queensway’s Assertive Community Treatment Team program is comprised of a transdisciplinary team of health professionals who provide client-centered individual treatment, support and rehabilitation to residents of the Ottawa region with severe and persistent mental illness.

Supports

Pinecrest-Queensway offers a service to help clients navigate the health and social service system.

PQCHC provides extensive case management services to Ottawa clients with severe and persistent mental illness. Case Managers determine what level of support is necessary to improve the client’s quality of life, focusing on areas such as housing, employment and socialization.

PQCHC offers free individual counselling and support for women who have experienced abuse by an intimate partner. Women may also choose to participate in support groups designed as safe places to share experiences and work together to end violence and other forms of abuse in their lives.

Housing Support

Pinecrest-Queensway and the City of Ottawa partner to provide support services to families who have been recently made homeless, or face ongoing challenges in maintaining their current housing. The Families First Team provides support where families are most comfortable, in their own homes, and work to identify specific challenges and priorities for each family member.
